This is a great service provided for free by Takuma Mori of vixy.net. The service is using a compressed domain transcoder technology (outline in Japanese). Converts FLV to MPEG4 faster and less loss in quality than a typical transcoder. FLV file formats are commonly used by sites such as Youtube, Google Video, Reuters.com, Myspace etc. Don't know what's a FLV file? Read here.
You just enter the URL of the page that contains the FLV file and the Converter will change it to whatever format you want. You have options either to convert the FLV to avi, mov, mp3, 3gp, and even mp3 only. Then you can download the converted files. This is a pretty cool way to download FLV files from Youtube, Myspace etc.

This is unique content which would never be aired on regular music video channels. Last.tv automates selection and provides effortless continuous play and you don't even need to slect your own videos. Simply put, its like watching MTV, except this time its all your favourite clips!
The concept is really novel and cool but sometimes there's a mismatch between the video results from youtube and your stats in last.fm. Needs a little more work IMO.
